Founded over 40 years ago by Tom Gilmore, Sr., we have grown from a commercial flooring installation and cleaning firm to a company, now headed by Tom Gilmore, Jr., that has completed projects in nearly every state for some of the most notable hospitality firms in the world.

The Gilmore family has been associated with carpet manufacturing and installation for three generations pre-dating the modern tufting era and we are happy to pass that expertise along to our clients.

As company president and chief operating officer, Tom, an avid baseball fan and skier, received his education in Connecticut and Vermont. He soon joined the firm and after the completion of a project near the Embarcadero in San Francisco saw the need for a company with wider reaching services.

    As he grew the company, he kept pace with technology and provided educational opportunities for his nationwide network of installation teams to keep up with that growth. He can be reached at tom@tginstall.com

Jamie, Vice President of National Accounts, has most recently served as president of the Northeast’s largest contract flooring company. He fielded a significant team of account managers and over 100 installers to work on some of the largest projects in the Metro Boston market.

    He served as an officer on several national and international professional boards and had an opportunity to see the need to broaden his reach outside of the Northeast. He joined TG Installations to take his skills and expertise to a larger arena.
